As well as revamping the website for the 9th anniversary of CoH, the fan-made spiritual successor “Heroes and Villains” also posted the first screenshot from the game, showing a view of Earth from The Bastion, the giant space station that forms the centerpiece and command center of the EarthShield Network, a system of deep space scanners and orbital weapons platforms designed to protect the world from extraterrestrial threats.

To mark the 9th anniversary of the launch of “City of Heroes” yesterday, its fan-made indie developed spiritual successor revamped its website and logo.

Hi Golden Girl - not really a question here. Just wanted to say how phenomenal the concept artwork looks for Heroes and Villains. I miss CoH immensely, and I can see that the characters that've been sketched are SO true to the spirit and character of CoH

“Heroes and Villains” is the title of a planned project to create a player-made and run superhero MMO - the development process is still in the very early stages, but helping to spread the word about it will really make a difference.

Anyone interested in volunteering to work on the project can visist the “Heroes and Villains” foum and sign up.
